The stereotypes in these 3 photos from the 1950-60 era is that men are superior to women kind of like a god and women should worship their men .

In the 1st photo it clearly portrays that women belong in house and constantly clean as that is the only way a a man will love them. This is because of the statement "so the harder a wife works the CUTE SHE LOOKS" that statement was for a cereal made by kelloggs.
In the 2nd photo it also shows how women do things around the house as its states that "cook that what wives are for" .However , the 3rd photo is a different type of stereotype which portrays that women are beauty addicts.

However nowadays (2000s) women advertisements are very revealing. especially for skincare products women are being used ,maybe because the are stereotyped for that kind of genre.

In conclusion i think that women adverts have changed as they are not put down in power and have been shown to have the power of no fear as they are able to show their body worldwide how i do think there will always be a stereotype as you never see a man doing these types of adverts.
